This is so cute. I can just imagine the confusion. That same look that comes across a dog’s face when you pretend to throw something and he tries to find it. This is a great Limerick! Congratulations on your winning poem. Blessings xxoo

I love limericks but have not been able to write a good one yet. Yours makes me think of Harry The Dirty Dog, a children's book about a dog who buried his bath brush before running away...cute story, just like your poem. Thank you for visiting my poem page.
