Confession of My Intransigence
Unwavering by God’s might
tenaciously upholding my faith divinely granted
through Christ’s imputed righteousness…
here’s my soul, grace propped
earnestly striving to live for Him
exalting His name … my holy intransigence.
Unfaltering along the Saviour’s steadfast assurance
immutably sealing my redemption security
against unbelief and skepticism’s attacks…
here’s my spirit, kept by His Word, perfectly reliable
ceaselessly enabled to learn from Him
to be able to teach biblical discipleship … my devoted intransigence.
Unswerving toward the Lord’s direction
prudently guarding my steps He maneuvers
with His omniscience of supreme guidance…
here’s my life, sanctified and purged by the blood of the Lamb
wholeheartedly yielded to lead others toward Him
in reverential worship … my ardent intransigence.
Unfailing because of Christ’s presence
serenely constraining my service
by His compassion midst His mercy’s abundance…
here’s my commitment vow* He has blessed
conscientiously declared to love Him
with all my heart … my eternal intransigence.
*Isaiah 19:21 And the LORD shall be known… yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
