Complete-Delete
Alas...for now I do tweak
All of the rhymes I do seek
And just so you won't peek
All will be shared in a week
For with my writing, you see
The idea pops out rough to me
I have to polish it up - to a "T"
And round it out for all to see
I space - then re-space
All over the place
Like I'm in a race
Just to save my face
I complete - then delete
I repeat - with conceit
I think I'm SO neat
I repeat till I'm beat
And now it's here, that time that I fear
That dreaded deadline is actually here
And there is no time left now to clear
So I enter it fast, then grab a beer
