Commitment

Commitment is the life of doves; they never stray apart. Unlike humans, their oneness has meaning enough to bind them. Forever till death, they mate; accomplishing more than humans.

For two years, I watched doves on my windowsill. The first year they had one little one; the second year, two. I think that doves are great parent's and we could all learn a lot from them. They are devoted to one another, as well. Thanks for the visit.

I think that real love is nearly impossible to find, in this world. It's always refreshing to see it, whether among doves or other species, including humans. It can never be replaced, which makes it that much more valuable. Glad you stopped by.

I would say accomplishing more than humans, at least in that one important aspect of life. I heard dolphins were the same way. Very nice to find this one of yours.

Thank you, Andrea. I often wonder...do we accomplish more or destroy more? I think that many species are that way, but a few years ago, I had the chance to observe a dove family nesting on my window sill; they were such responsible and caring parent's and the fledglings were so obedient. It was an amazing and wondrous little family.
