Coming Clean - Wink, Wink

When Momma said, 'Wash with soap'
I heard, somehow, 'Watch the soaps'

She'd come and turn the TV off, said
~ 'At least your hands are clean and soft'

Funny, gw. I guess she was inferring that other parts were not so clean, eh?

Ears, perhaps, not so clean eh? Not overly relevant but it’s sad how technology moves on and some jokes just die. Years ago, when anyone said ‘What’s on the TV?’ I’d answer, ‘An Aerial and a vase of flowers’.

Momma said there'd be days like these. Keep up with the good clean writes, GW. Hope all is well my friend. Charlie
