Comfort Zone

Where the river turns through mountains ravine, The answers are found to what is serene Where the cliffs climb up on the mountain’s side, Water trickles down, the slate rocky slide Faces are seen in reflections below In the moving ripples of water’s flow Nature’s pictures are drawn on rocks nearby When the waterfalls choose not to be shy The pine needles soften each step to shore On a walk ever reaching so much more The wildlife is busy with their play Running around in their world for the day This all offers the mind a home to be Calm in its comfort zone, under a tree Heidi Sands 3/23/19

Peaceful, calming, the gifts of nature. And you are so right, they are all around you. Lovely, Heidi

Heidi, there was a subtle bit of personification in this also, which added to her loveliness. "Nature’s pictures are drawn on rocks nearby When the waterfalls choose not to be shy"
