Come Unto Me
A dozen different faces and more appearing out of nowhere
These past few months as somewhat intriguing, their possibilities ?
I myself stumbling through another fall yet always the same season it seems
Brushed the canvas blue in dreams; a world which died inside these eyes....
Surreal their sight and years gone by with broken wings about empty streets
Asking her what she believed as for Christ Jesus ? Quoting some words from His
Majesty, unto Martha and Philip while referring amid this, Heaven's Messiah ?
Suddenly she turned an image in circling emotions; weeks afore gentle as meek
Faithful then out of nowhere irritable pointing her finger anger a voice discerning
Spirit's they say and she unto me revealing dark fangs, while I walked away....
Lingering this statement that all her daughters are beautiful as also her sons
Something about New York, and that she could read between these lines of mine ?
Taking myself back into the crowds new masque so to speak an unknown man
Calling me beautiful as I passed and there she was with he; thinking how odd
While the young homeless girl arrived late one night, carrying a worn bible
Sharing that she was borne with a love for others as herself; I could empathize....
Surrounded by this new found stream schizophrenics ? An Angel bright light; saying.
