Come To Me
I stand before the ocean floor,
Waves crashing fiercely at my feet,
You are in the distance,
Beckoning, come to me,
Come to me closer, closer.
You know I cannot swim,
But you say it doesn’t matter,
You are my mermaid,
My protector, my love.
I start toward you,
Fighting the waves, so fierce.
Come to me closer, closer.
Resist not an option,
As your hair glistens in the sunlight,
An Angel come to save me,
To make my life right.
Many others around,
But no one else can see you.
Come to me closer, closer,
You soft lips gently whisper,
I am yours, and no other,
Let your dreams come true,
Be with me forever.
I go underwater.
The dream is over,
Drowned in a sea of pity,
I am free.
