Come North My Love
These decayed cities must hold us no longer.
Let us flee this mass of conformity.
The jaded concrete has bound us too long.
Come north with me, my love.
Bring your warm clothes and precious smile.
I will brush the snow from your shoulders,
and keep our fires strong during long nights.
Come north with me, my love.
Can we sneak away to a private hot spring?
Lie down in soft glades beyond boundaries?
Let’s watch sunsets behind dazzling peaks.
Come north with me, my love.
I will purchase a boat and serenade you over water.
We will buy a house overlooking verdant mountains.
Will you let me plant you an orchard?
Come north with me, my love.
Our children will be free of urban poison.
Meadows team with butterfly amusements.
Pine forests they will wander in serenity.
Come north with me, my love.
Please my love……..
Into the unknown……..
Hand in hand………
We should go………
