Colourfication

Colourfication




In Navy suit, since he was ready for sail,
she stood with vermillion on her head,
Embellished with diamonds studded in gold,
an ivory necklace embraced her neck.

A bouquet of flowers in all hues of lilac,
interlaced with beaming threads in olive,
Lit her paling life, wiping glooms of charcoal,
and tinged her beats glitter in subtle cerise.

Longing embed as silver streaked her plaits,
till every evanescent dawn of tangerine twilight.
