When we met, I surely knew the yearning Breathlessness erasing my weariness Feelings, dreams, soothing every discerning You silence doubts, discourage dreariness Deep inside, I long for your spirit’s smile I feel so thankful for this song of grace Past all sorrow, when I’ve known you awhile With dawn, there’s more love than dreams can embrace Buried in my heart, lies breathless prayers Reminding that love settles the worst dread Painting joy in wonder who always shares Rich in light, laughter is forever spread Over hearts, where only love is assumed Amazingly, the darkest doubt is doomed Amazingly, the darkest doubt is doomed Because of you my heart’s always in bloom Gentle sighs suggest I’m sweetly perfumed By your love, magnificence I’ll presume Aching for courage to say what I feel You’re the light of my world, the tune I sing Such a scrumptious love holds so much appeal This story so old it pulls my heartstring Clinging passions, lavender’s soft splendor Gasping in the wind’s cool September nights Your kiss, always my heart’s best defender This is the music stars in heaven writes Over stardust glimpses of cobalt praise Rousing affections, love that will amaze Rousing affections, love that will amaze Scarlet burning, desires of hearts in red Clever hints of tenderness set ablaze Nothing but the sweetest love up ahead Dew reflects whispers of tender petals Risking their hearts for the chance to believe News reveals the soul, it’s more than metals It’s lavish hope, prayers who won’t deceive Deep down inside, I see the light you shed If but thought, it’s the kind that carries air Because of you, this joy within has spread It’s more than romance, more than an affair Because of you, love fills my heart anew I know your kindness will always come through I know your kindness will always come through Without your love, the future is unsure Soft and serene, joy tempting heart’s debut It’s blissful to know our love will endure Wherever I go, there’s quiet wonder Promising that this bond will always be Shielding when I feel I’m going under Your sheltering arms makes me so carefree Lying next to you, our hearts are so blessed By the joys, yearnings, and dedication This is a love that has to be expressed I know this love is more than flirtation Without you, honey, I wouldn’t hold the prize Easy to see when looking in my eyes Easy to see when looking in my eyes It’s beautiful that knows how to inspire Love like this is love that I can’t disguise This is the devotion that hearts require I said “I do” and you knew the words true When I married you, I was elated This love, so sure, sweet as the morning dew Thanks to you, I never feel frustrated My real joy comes from knowing you’re here Thankful to God that you were created I’m more sure of you than I might appear With you, there’s romance that’s not outdated I love you more with each and every day Praising God for the plans that made a way Praising God for the plans that made a way With rainbow moments, I delight in dreams Beauty won’t fade as on and on we play Hushing all doubt with wonderous sunbeams Washing away pain, I cling to your smile Your kindness prepares me for the griefs When they come calling, life still seems worthwhile Because you’re reassuring my beliefs Without your light, I’d be thrust into pain Unending love is what we call this link It’s the bond of light that won’t see the rain Alive with brilliance brighter than rose pink Where you go, just know that I’m beside you There in the heartfelt touch, like the sky-blue There in the heartfelt touch, like the sky-blue Life became best when we’d finally met Before I knew you, seems my heart just knew Twas’ you, the ONE, together, a duet Alive in spirit where we’re connected A love that will blind, so thankful you’re mine Our hearts so in love, never rejected Dreams, joy, inspirations we would combine Together, we’re one, a perfect couple Colors of my heart, singing our own song Remembering the music, so supple Creating a home, happy we’re so strong Thoughts of you are like fire, always burning When we met, I surely knew the yearning

The Crown of sonnets must be in my opinion the very most challenging of all the poetry forms. You have excelled in achieving a masterful poem that embraces so many distinct images and your descriptions are supreme Gina. My favorite among many favorites here is :"Washing away pain, I cling to your smile Your kindness prepares me for the griefs When they come calling, life still seems worthwhile" A wonderful sincere write, that surely defines love in its truest form. Oh, Regina, this is a truly brilliant work of art. I've gone back to re-read it 3 times now while writing this. So much imagery that my mind is blown. Each time I find my favorite line, it is quickly replaced by a more brilliant one. Fantastic.

I am in awe of your brilliancy to carve such gorgeous imageries in such a prolific and pristine way, that truly captures the heart..
