Colorful Nights
Early nights call upon adventurous times,
we await with our plans left to execute.
Too old to trick,
yet we pride ourselves in treats,
as we drive through silent streets
before darkness reigns.
The moon would visit every now and then,
to bare witness to our mischief on display.
We fistfight with food, whistle to trees,
surround ourselves with music,
movie dates under duvets,
as stars twinkle twinkle away.
Chosen by fate, we always travel in pairs,
whichever the location,
we colour the world however we please.
Days go by faster,
aging shall come sooner or later,
but a life worth loving, we shall live.
