Color

Everyone sees color differently some color-blind yet they know the texture and warmth of shades, bland grays more a product of heart and not one’s eyes – not all black and white, coldly set, appealing only a stark contrast some light embracing its fine-line shadows as midnights with stars and moon in warmth of touch – meet me in the polychromatic moment, where all spectrum shards of color im-prismed are released, forever to unveil a harmony unbreached….

Ahh!! What a nice write. I have seen it on TV where someone who is color blind gets some special glasses that helps them to see color and most of them cry because of they now know what they have been missing. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara

Colors are like feeling, how we are on the soul level. I can see why one would have such an emotional reaction. Blessings Sara.

Oh this is an interesting one, I like how you poetically expressed the theme here... great use of analogy and metaphor.. maybe, I recommend a poem by a new poet to read? The aura of rhymes, who is currently POTD, her first poem is also about colour and being blind... hopefully you get a chance to read it.. take care my friend.

Hello Joe DiMino, I am color blind. I am color blind not to all colors. I have trouble with red, navy blue, grey, black, green, brown. Sometimes I have to ask what is the color I am looking at? I've been like this all my life. Enjoy your day my friend. /Darlene

As an artist, it is difficult to imagine not seeing color as true as human beings are able...but, perhaps other senses are heightened even more to compensate--like the ability, to write colorfully? Blessings.
