Cognitive Moment
Translucent glass of thought,
Half full, half empty.
Perception, reasoning, justification,
Swallow the circumstance slowly.
Decision making,
Fact or fiction.
Opinions, judgements, face perception,
Feelings and emotions complicate.
Intellectual deliberation,
Overlooking offensive behaviours.
Social recognition, appearances, acceptance.
The brain thinks, but the heart feels.
Explanations, resolutions, validation,
Conscious or unconscious.
One must rise above and forge ahead,
An excuse is an excuse.
