Cock a Doodle Do
COCK A DOODLE DO
I flap, I cluck and parade around all day
Scratch and peck where ever I can
There’s always plenty of food all about
My lovely harem is wondering all around
And quite often run away when I’m nearby
But I am needed to continue this brood
So I get tolerated, because I have charge
My house is very swish with several levels
Or for a change I can sleep in the old barn
But I am the most important here in the barnyard
Because I wake at the crack of dawn for all
To crow my loud cock a doodle do
So all around will wake for the new dawn
Then all the others in the yard
Are fed and watered for the day
