Clouds

The clouds always catch my eye It's such an awesome scene If I tell what I see You’ll say it’s just a dream. Are those fluffy pillows For someone’s sleepy head Or have the little Angels Been jumping on the bed. There’s a gigantic iceberg With mamma polar bear She just jumped into the sea To join her cubs in there. A ship it’s sail a blowing Drifts off to the south Headed toward a port unknown It’s cargo a surprise. Marshmallows bobbing Upon an anxious sea Make me wish for hot chocolate Instead of my ice tea. Are those a flock of Pelicans Off there to my right No, they look more like Pterodactyls Dinosaurs in flight. One day while at my daughters I was truly moved I saw a buffalo cloud suspended Above their little herd. A cross above a little church From which I tried to draw hope As a sign God would let our daughter Remain here on the earth. The morning after my Mother died There before my eyes Was Angel Gabriel and his trumpet She was in Paradise. And so in the mean time I will watch the clouds Waiting for God’s message From someone else I love.
