Cloud darkened sky Nimbus raced above me in flight Cloud darkened sky A thunderstorm was drawing nigh Shadowing the purple twilight Lightening flashed, giving great fright Cloud darkened sky

Lin, you're making me think about a lot of thunderstorms I've experienced. I remember hearing the zap/buzz of the lightning before the thunder...a very strange thing. Maybe there was some induced current making that sound. It was enough to make me get out of the doorway and move further inside. It can be quite a display. Smiles!!

Hi Darlene and thank you very much. I've no pet since losing my kitty, Bella 2 years ago. Pups seem to need more calming than cats, or so I've noticed.

Its right now thunder roaring sky for me; thor is pretty fierce and angry lol, i hate thunder, i was just listening to the rain and thunder and wrote a hiku which i might post tomorrow! You do these forms so well dear linnersz, such a prolific poetess, you write so much and each poem has such a creative spark flickering within your words that needs to be admired! Best wishes!
