Clothes

I fear that I'm obsessed with clothes
and maybe shoes as well
always looking for something new
or a bargain in the sale!

My wardrobe's fit to overflow
but I seem to just add more!
Perhaps one day its doors will burst
and spill my clothes upon the floor!

congratulations on your win! If I had read this earlier, I might have said that it inspired "mine" which is a poem I wrote about someone throwing out your clothes without permission. I love clothes too and I am obsessed with buying sneakers of all things!

emma, if you gain weight and have to throw half away, that might help some. hahaha. (sadly, it happened to me). I was a thrift shopaholic and had two closets full plus boxes of stuff. Now I am down to 1 and a half closets and I've managed to lose a bit of the weight i gained. Maybe one day I can lose a size and be buying 9/10's again. I LOVE this. Congratulations on the Hm.

adornments influenced by the media, rock stars, celebrities, and climate, is it any wonder that clothing can be an obsession. being a tshirt and shorts kind of person i know there are other choices, but i like the simplicity and comfort in what i wear and in what i write. I enjoyed this because it made me think about lifes obssessions
