Closed Chapter
I thought this was done
That chapter was closed
And my memories froze
Days went by
Sometimes, I cried
And often, I just survived
My emotions get crazy
Every thought is racing
My voice is shaking
I have to say goodbye
He doesn't have much time
And I must act like I'm fine
I pick up the phone
Tears just overflow in my eyes
Your chapter might have closed
But feelings arose
I found a blank page
For your story to go
But now it's too late
And I'll never know
My page remains blank
With everlasting heartache
