Civil Lies

After God created the earth Man recreated it and called it civilization. When God created the earth He had put in Eden’s garden trees, waters, and animals. When man recreated his world, he made A smart city of machines, computers, and skyscrapers. God created humans. Man created a humanoid. God formed the earth from a void Man’s civilization was built From rocks, metals, and other compounds; It looks very solid and attractive But its foundation, unknown, was built of straws Of greed, deception, and subjugation. The same world that creates injustice The same that decries it. The same world that tempts man into crimes The same that punishes him. Civil lies are the fruits of the new world Man has become wise, wiser than his Maker He explores, possesses, and dominates the earth All for his God complex, not to serve but himself. Today, he has become the robot Programmed to self-destruct. The logic of his computer brain makes his life More and more a labyrinth His heart like steel machines Running an insensate course of life. The Creator sends showers, light, pure air And His affection to renew the earth And that man should preserve it and its fullness. I woke up to the cataclysm and Apocalypse Of nuclear power, poisonous emissions, rage, And nature's disaster!
