Cityscape
Now is time spent here as moments fly fast;
We grope with faint light as life trips and falls;
Hidden in our tears glimpses that outlast;
We latch our fond sights lest troubles fling gall.
Day by day we hear echoes of old chimes;
Whispers of a hint in wind blown murmurs;
Why is this my dear that sad, sordid rhyme;
Sepia brown page mint that shades now concur.
Yet hope and faith stand the passing seasons;
The message timely felt in pulse and strain;
We grip tight each strand, bargain with reason;
Glimpse not so wisely the passage laid plain.
Live with love that sculpts the vision most grand;
Love a life that rubs a sanguine sure trend.
