City Life

City Life

Alley avenues
Bustle in hues of twilight
Music flees through open doors

City rhythms rhyme
Tapping toes - hypnotic beats -
I dance down the sidewalk streets.

Thank you so much Janice! This poem was based on brass footprints set in a sidewalk in Seattle. If you follow them, you literally can dance down the street! All the best to you.

In Seattle on Broadway there are brass footsteps set into the sidewalk. They replicate a dance pattern - fox trot, waltz, etc.. and you can literally dance down the street. This was inspiration for tis poem! Thank you as allows for your blest wishes - love that - and your message! Time to put away the cleats and get out your dancing shoes!
