Circulation
you crawl up under someone's skin
'cause you like to swim in those
warm, soft, cozy spaces
where life pulses
arterial cushiness
eventually
tho
the heartbeat that wooed
gonna throb you to the capillaries
and osmosis you to some nasty happenin's
in the colon
kidneys
liver
gall bladder...
not to mention the hard places
like the marrow of the knuckles
where calcification is more likely
than not.
long way to the veins from there
(23 feet in the intestines alone)
takes some backbone
and a hit or two of kundalini
to navigate the trip
and return to the heart.
