Circling Vultures
birds of
prey seeking
to catch
you when
the block
is on &
what you
produce
is not up
to par with
what they
feel should
coax them
into a place
of cultural
dominance
for it is the
tip top of
the tippiest
top the crème
de la crème
who think
that all
things shall
follow suit
with what
they do &
what they
like & what
they know
already---
so shall it
has been
so shall it
will ever
be & all
that jazz
but we
have some
news for
you o’
nazis of
19th & 20th
century
artistic
fartistic
critique-
--see that
we will
not go
away so
quickly
because
to stay a
thorn in
the side
of whatever
tradition
you seem
to be
perpetuating
means to
bow down
& suck
that righteous
*****
which you
so eloquently
flail upon
the heads
of any new
take on
anything
that might
be deemed
“art” or
“lit” or
“music” or
one big fat
orgy of
them all
entwined in
one---but
you spend
so much time
finding flaw
in the work
of others
that you
produce
nothing of
your own &
nothing
reveals a
greater hack
than s/he
who is
suffocated
by the sound
of their own
voice
heckling
heckling
heckling
a
world
that is
actually
moving,
thriving,
creating &
experiencing
itself.
