Christ's Sacrifice

Christ's sacrifice was truly enough...
to cleanse us all with His blood and conquer death;
and His resurrection was one of the first triumphs,
shaking up Jerusalem's burial ground at sunrise!

The skeptics still stare at the cross on Calvary...
with the image of a flagellated body,
not discerning that He is still divine:
doubting that His weakened voice will arise!

There's the wander:  the incredible sight, not the mystery;
the heavy tomb's stone is removed by angels so mighty!
