Christmas Traditions

Tradition is a lovely thing.

It binds our past and the future.

Remembering the way it’s always been,

Hoping the comfort of sameness endures.

We do hope and pray for that "comfort of sameness," Barbara. You have made quite a statement in just four great lines! Tradtions endure because they have meaning and continue to bring joy to generation after generation. Excellent poem, LNC! Love, Carolyn

Some people may scoff at traditions...however, I think family traditions can be a powerful legacy, part of the glue that makes each family unique, special, and hold tight to one another. Lovely poem, Barb! ~ Carrie
