Christmas Time
Christmas time
For many of us here
it's Christmas time once more
With tinsel and mistletoe
And sprigs of holly around the door
Brightly coloured fairy lights
Bedeck the Christmas tree
It makes it very special
To folk like you and me
But for some it's not so special
If theres no one in their heart
No one in their lives to love
No one person to be a part
It truly is a Christian thing
Although other faiths do join in
They don't know the importance
And yet it is fun for them to do
The birth of baby Jesus
Is the gift for me and you
We celebrate his birth each year
On December the 25th
It takes us from our hum drum way
And gives us all a special lift
We bring gifts to all our loved ones
Yes but the greatest gift of all
Is the little baby Jesus Lying in his stall
So please don't hate the others
Who do not appreciate our way
Our very special festival
Our Christian Christmas day
