Always love those oranges especially at Christmas time. Like you in our early years oranges were hard to get due to cold weather. Nice haiku. love phyl

Your haikus are always so special, to the point and extremely poignant. Sunshine smile, may your sunny disposition bring sun to our summer as we have had low temperatures and rain for the past five weeks, the rain however essential, but we should have Summer temperatures by now, whereas you are freezing in your part of the world. Have a blessed Christmas my friend and may all your wishes forever come true. Hugs and love Jenny.

- Summer temperatures sound lovely ... we are in freezing temperatures and waiting for the snow ... - A little early ... but I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas, dear Jenny :) - hugs

You pack more into 3 tiny lines that I could say in 3 stanzas. Its a gift. I swear I can smell those oranges. This is lovely and has to go on my favorite list.

Anne-Lise, oh I do adore your haikus. Your imagery is just stunning, and that's saying nothing of the incredibly great analogies you use.

Oh I do love your haikus Anne-Lise! The first thing our boys go for in their stockings, after the chocolate, are the tangelos. Oranges are, in their own way, such a wonderful part of Christmas - a visible blessing like a treasured ornament. Hugs and blessings!

This is lovely, Anne-Lise. Orange on white is very eye-catching. At the moment my orange trees are full of fruit, but alas no chance of having snow as part of decoration! ~ Regards & Hugs // paul

- Prefer a tree full of fruit, Paul ... I'm not too fond of snow :) - hugs
