Notes About The Poem

Christmas Always Felt Magical

Christmas always felt magical, and still brings out the child in me. Yet, I pine for a simpler time, when innocence was still in bloom. Though the holidays came and went, Christmas always felt magical. It's the season carolers sing and friendly neighbors wave and smile. Reindeer once galloped on rooftops, and townsfolk strung up colored lights. Christmas always felt magical, and I yearn for those times again. I recall childhood moments when fantasy was reality. And Santa Claus wasn't make-believe; Christmas always felt magical.

Christmas always so magical mostly at night with all the colorful lights, blow up figures that decorate the houses and front lawns. Then the Christmas tree full of light and so many Christmas presents that make the child in us smile. Lovely write, my friend. Congratulations on your win.
