Wealth brings fleeting comforts
Health slow slips away
Hearth and home bring solace
Hearts joined win the day
Come with me, my darling
Some enchanted place
Sore pressed by affliction
Sure in need of grace
Born, the child of Mary
Bore him in a stall
Gore and grief awaited
Gone, wrapped in a pall
King on his arising
Kind, majestic, strong
Mind, lest you discount him
Find him, your heartsong
Need of all else ended
Heed not death, confused
Head with me to glory
Hear enchanting news
Dear our hearts to Him, beloved
Near is Christ, our muse.
