Children's Rhyme

Rikity Skikity

Rikity, Skikity, Mikity, Squawk
If you were a sheep how would you talk?
Would you talk flock or have mutton to say?
Tell me Rikity, Quikity, I pray.

If I were a sheep, I would not talk,
I'd sit in the fireside room, knit woollen sweaters,
And cradle a lamb, and rock...... Baaaaaaaaaaack and forth.

You have a great imagination. I just love 'mutton to say' - so funny. Instead of sweaters my mind wanted socks - I guess my mind assumed the rhyme - not at all a criticism, just free flowing on my responses. Cute and adorable strike again with your pen ... CayCay
