Children and Wars

Children did not ask to be born
Parents brought them in the world
They did not ask for war
But war devoured their loved ones

They roam the streets
Empty of life
Empty of future
All alone

But life marches on
Without feeling
Without tears

So true.Nobody ever asked to be born yet everybody is expected to take it up the chin as if it's their just deserts. I will say it again that as humans we are the least "woke" of all creation.

"Life marches on...." it really does, sadly.
