Chicago is a Sports Heroes Town

    We’ve got the teams
    We’ve got the steam
       We’ve got the coaches
     Hear our fans scream

     We’ve got the owners
     They’ve got the money
        (Sometimes they spend some)
      Though that’s no so funny

But then there’s something I see
sport after sport, year after year
Something I hate to admit --
When the game’s on the line
~ Our heroes ALL play like sheet

Haha, great concluding line. I know some very passionate Chicago sports fans. I fondly remember a fellow I knew for several years who was from Chicago. His childhood was deeply affected by the 1969 Amazing Mets. My neighbor today is a big Bears fan. I hope their loyalty is rewarded in 2026.

lol! I’m proud of our Panthers as they were underdogs who nearly won last night!

Oh, id only I'd been stronger, faster, and able to hit the freakin' curve....hey, in REAL life we get paid at the end of the week for what we've done not before we put our boots on.
