I know that poetry is not everyone's bag (dime or nickle); and its taste makes many gag; and the labor intense as it must be certainly not for those who lag – but for the poet while most often not his bread-and-butter he senses God, somehow a complicit Brother closer His heart and Spirit Divine

People can enjoy reading poetry, even writing poetry -- but, to be a poet, is something different. I sing (ouch!), I play violin, but I am not a Concert Violinist. I play, drums, but I am no professional, or even close. These arts require a degree of dedication I am not willing put forth -- they do not touch my soul deeply enough. Ultimately, no matter how much time one puts into anything, history will decide, and not self or peers.

I eat ripple-cut kettle-cooked gourmet potato-chips W I T H white-chedder & sour-cream flavor 8 oz. bag ~ 95¢ and an Original 20oz. Coke® so who's your Slangin' Tribe-Poet hung like a chinese restaurant menu now ( celestial flanks included )? .... dont change a thing. Write 'till lightning strikes!

Hi Robert; thank you for commenting. Well, change is inevitable...I just hope most of mine are pluses -- Yes! I will continue to fly that kited-key, bare-handed on the wire, wearing no rubber boots. It has always been my way. Blessings my friend.
