Cheeky Bird
I
awake
to the tune
of a Sparrow
serenading Dawn
while welcoming the sun.
It sings a sweet, cheery song
that beckons me to my window
to catch a glimpse of this cheeky bird,
that greets each day in such a cheerful way.
