You’re not kidding! Mom’s doc called as my dad was in the throes of grief! He wasn’t yet armed with his anger.

Yet he/she may have the best bedside manner... I.e., botch the diagnosis/operation, and then soothe you and make you feel that they really care about you.

lol this is so cute and true! But I once fell very ill and my doctor actually waited after hours for me to drive at my own peril to her office. The nurses had left it was dark in the area where they weigh you. She did the nurses job and hers. I was so grateful!

Yes, there are still moments when doctors rise to the occasion. Too few, however.
