Chardonnay Zero
Soft chords of strummed chardonnay pore my soul -
Harmonized beauty held once in this string,
Measured perfection, melodious, whole,
Now floats along an endless shore. Emptied, I sing;
Chardonnay misery pours from my soul,
Strums no accord for these miscomposed notes:
Harmonized melodies measure me whole.
Far from me measures where harmony’s Melody floats.
