Chapter 7-- Damian Hakim: Damian and Cj

September   2017
Warm sunny Saturday early 
Afternoon
Damian was indulged in stock
Market purchasing. He was 16
He believed he needed to spread
His wings. Damian made big
Purchase that would net boastful 
Future funds. He bought 2 shares
Of  Amazon 1 share of exon oil.
And more gaming stock at least 
4 shares of that. Then he believed 
He had an obligation to his family 
Especially to his mother and 
Younger brothers and sisters. So
He started on his rounds check on
Them and their needs. He thought 
Being that he was 16 it was only
"Ethical  etiquette." He went to see
His mother first, he knew she be
Tending to Kyon. He walked into the
Large room, she was nursing him.
He Whispered, "Hey ma, how's he 
Doing?" He touched the baby's hand.
She said, "he's great perfect baby boy."
How are you Damian?"   "I'm fine ma"
He squeezed her hand. Then left
To visit the rest of the brawly bunch.
In Crysteph's and Franky-Joe's room
They were submerged in video game play.
He sat watching them for a while.
Damian then stepped out into the
Hallway. On his way to see Julius
When he heard voices coming from 
His father's den (which was really
A large closet). He interrupted a
Meeting between his father,  CJ and 
Uncle Rodney. Damian seriously 
Chuckled, "Hey what's going on! 
I'm not included?!" Family?!"
Damian entered the small room and 
Sat down in a chair close to his 
Father.  CJ was flustered, "you don't have 
To be included, who are you!" 
Damian Rose up blistering, 
"WHAT THE HELL CJ?!!"  YOU
AINT RUNNING NOTHING HERE
PARTNER!!  Dad you with this?!!"
His father was making an effort 
To calm him saying, "Damian you 
Know ...Damian cut him off. 
"I don't need to do this!" Carter said
"Now hold on Damian." But CJ said
"Nah Dad let the little spoiled boy 
Leave!"  Uncle Rodney and Carter
Glanced from one to the other. 
Everybody was on edge. Before
They could stop the altercation 
Damian rammed CJ pinning him 
Against the wall. Seems as though
Damian mushroomed in the small 
Space which became smaller due
To Damian's presence. 
Damian was 5'11" weighing 200.
CJ said, "So what...what you trying
Do?" Damian growled with his thick
Voice, "Don't EVER...make sure you
Never call me little boy! I am not
Your LITTLE BROTHER!!" I am 
Growing before your sight MAN!!
He released CJ throwing him almost 
To the floor. Then ripped from the
Room flinging the door plunging a 
Whole in the wall. Damian Returned
To his room to calm himself and 
Packed a few belongings including 
The Malcolm X auto biography then
Made his exit. He rode his scooter
To his girlfriend 16 years-old Heshia.
Her father was an associate of
His uncle Kerris. She welcomed him.
"This is a surprise You didn't call."
Damian answered, "I meant to call 
But I was running hasty."  Meanwhile 
Back home Lucinda entered the 
Den late on the scene she asked,
"Was that Damian I heard raging
Outta here a little while ago?" 
Carter Hakim bolstered, "Yeah 
Babe, the Raging bull left his cage."
She asked, "what made him so
Upset!" Nobody said a word but
Everybody watched CJ.  Lucinda 
Asked, "WHAT DID YOU DO CJ?!"
CJ said, "i...Hey he just...Uncle Rodney 
Cut him with the sharp razor. 
"Hey STUPID!! TELL THE TRUTH!!
Father Hakim said, "CARTER JUNIOR 
YOU CALLED HIM LITTLE BOY!!
You know that was a damn wrong 
Thing to say!! Mother Hakim was
Worried. "Where'd he spin off to?" 
"Have to call him. She opened her 
Phone and dialed his number.
Now, Damian at his end. Saw the 
Phone light up and ring. Heshia
Asked, "you're not gonna answer it?"
He said, "No it's my mother, I don't 
Wanna talk yet." She looked at his
Bag on the floor. "You wanna spend 
The night? My mother don't mind."
Her and my Dad are separated."
Then her mother came from her
Bedroom. Heshia reminded, "Ma
You know I introduced you to 
Damian before, right?" The mother
Was a sorta gorgeous 30 something.
Her mother said, "Yes, I recall him
From before, but let me reintroduce 
Myself, I'm Mrs. Giovanni. She noticed 
His bag and said, "I see You're 
Traveling." Damian straight to the 
Plunder point, "iii was actually 
Hoping you'd let me stay for a day
Or two."  She was gracious and 
Generous, "Yes. I...why not. You
Impress me as a good man. Although 
You appear young, how old are you?"
No fabrication, "Sixteen." Damian uttered.
"I think should call your family if you
Haven't already." Mrs. Giovanni was
Nice. All we can offer you is this couch
And some food, are you hungry?"
"Nah, no thanks. Nice of you to offer
All of this, I appreciate it."  As time
Passed one in the morning Damian 
Couldn't sleep. Instead he read the
Remaining chapters of Malcolm X
Autobiography. He fell asleep 4 in
The morning side. Later In the morning 
Damian felt he should call his
Mother. But he chose to go home
And endure any approaching 
Punishment.
