Change

I was born in a world of sin And shape in iniquity. I never knew the lord until He saved me. I was in the habit of drinking and smoking Never wanted to hear about church Because of the life I was living. All that change one day That was on my Sixteen Birthday. I was drinking and partying But was told to keep a thanksgiving. I suddenly collapse and fall down, Not knowing my heart was about give out I was picked up and rushed to the hospital. As I pass the door, my heart stop And I breath no more. For that moment I was alone In a dark place all on my own. With no one their not a single light No one their to comfort or say! “It’s gonna be fine” Then I wake up laying speechless For I was on life machine. While my family were crying and praying. Why I’m I here, what had happen? My aunt say I should be grateful Because God kept me. Then I turn and ask God Why he didn’t take me. For I never listen to my uncle Who told me to keep a thanksgiving. Cause of the sickness I was born with. I was told by the doctor That I wouldn’t live to see 16. But God show up and heal me And said “he have great plans for me” So I can live and do his work. Here I am at 23years old Still alive up to a day like today. Thanking God every step Of the way. Sometime I stumble Sometime I fall So I get right back up Go at it all again. For I was I was born in a world of sin And shape in iniquity. I used to place the things of the world in-front Now I worshipped and glorified Him. By Daniel Gibson
