Chameleon Dogasaurus

The basement Trolls were helping my Hubby clean up it’s watery Lake. The rain falling outside, was too much, for our basement walls to take. Moving boxes, saving things; they were a lot of help, for one glorious day. Then the box of children’s toys came open, and our Rubber Duckys got away. Suddenly, resistance was futile, for a rubber ducky has a certain magnetic allure. Water running from walls to drain, carrying them all, had a magic draw, I assure. Now, ducky racing, became a mesmerizing, sport, with wagers, and rules galore. A strange turn of events, I’m sure, for a child’s toy, to bring such a mighty uproar. Suddenly, one ducky went down the drain, as a fissure opened, for all she’s worth. A gusher hit our basement, sweeping us to and fro, then down the opening floor. Catacombs and caverns lay below, washing us directly, to the center of the Earth. You might say: we went with it, as the water left nothing else open, for us to do. Dragon hearing our screams in his cave, bounded out, and flew toward us quite fast. He was our hero that day, as a mighty waterfall appeared ahead with a mighty blast. He grabbed me, Hubby, and Grandpa Troll with his talons, flipping us onto his back. He threw the other Trolls to the side, where shelves stopped their eminent descent. But we were too much weight, so we spiraled down, all the way to the bottom core. Here we found an amazing jungle filled with ancient people, and dinosaurs, galore. A humongous lizard creature did bound out, carrying the ducky gently, in his hands. Seems this happens often, down here, but a rubber ducky was a strange new thing. The Trolls came down to claim their toys, but the ducky had already been claimed. We were, destroyers of the Garden of Eden, as they were taught the gambling game. Lolly and Doozer Palooza became their new friends, and wanted in the ducky games. The Trolls won a Chameleon Dogasaurus that became our family mascot, why not? In the end the Trolls and us got a great trip to the renowned center of the earth. The lizard people got a new game, we came home with a chameleon Dogasaurus, pet. Her name was Lolly, named after our friends, and a gorgeous chameleon was her set. Surprisingly, Dragon, now, held in high esteem, wanted to get a name soon, you bet. When we got home, it seems, I had lost, that last shred of room for me, in my bed. But Dragon loved his Lolly, so for him perhaps there is still hope, though as for me… House breaking dear sweet Lolly, has become a rather big horror, beyond compare! Dragon’s teaching her how and where to poop and, you see, she prefers, on our car…
