Chalice of Ambrosial Dreams

Bespangled she sashays up the shore from a sequin gowned sea wearing the undulating waves of aquamarine and ambrosial sheen adorned with shimmering and shivering seeds of excitement A thousand beaded fingertips trace her coral curves whispering sweet nothings in the luscious language of brine and blue drizzling down her sea-salted soul-case teasing and tempting her cooled honeyed patina to passionately impearled pertness Enraptured as he is enticed by her dreamscape the yearning senescent sands sigh~ longing for relics of rose-water regrets. There is more to read between the lines, and within the beauty, is a sense of loss of youth. Something perhaps we all face with the passing years. Well done !! Congratulations on your win !

Keith, your response delights me! I'm so happy you enjoyed my poem and its title and most of all its tenderly teasing imagery.. as it has to do with aging and the sense of loss of one's vanished youth and losing the perks that go along with being young.. Thank you for your insightful thoughts and the pleasure of your visit. Warmest wishes my friend. ~Susan

BRAVO! Magnifico! I have to agree with Mr Morning, Ursula Undress. I'm envisaging Daniel Craig - forget the Rose Water regrets - he's handing her a chilled flute of violet scented Dom Perignon Rose...to be followed by desert.
