Cerberus Sonnet
when mortal coil doth — dearest tomb keeper,
shroud the vibrant hue — of the dark and cold.
of life's brief candle — grant me one more kiss,
and the darkness creeps — my last farewell told.
through ebony's cold — revive my red lips,
and lonely shadow true — now grown pallid pale,
i search for the sweet — and in thine lit eyes,
guidance in dead's deeps — final breath i hail
lo, the void's abyss — thy lips, a blue rose
doth stare at me cold — winter's icy grasp.
