Cause Action Speak Louder Than Words
When you say you love me, words that sweetly flow,
They touch my heart, and make my soul glow.
But without action, babe, those words are just a test,
You're cutting me deep, and leaving me unrest.
Show me that you really love me, with deeds that speak,
Not just whispers in the night, but actions that seek.
To prove your love, to make me feel secure,
To be my rock, my shelter, my forever cure.
When you're sorry, don't just say the words, show me too,
That you're willing to change, and make amends anew.
Actions speak louder than voice, let your heart be seen,
And I'll believe your apology, and trust you'll be serene.
When you say you miss me, but don't reach out or call,
It's hard to believe your words, when actions don't stand tall.
So love me, and love me for real, with a love that's true,
Not just words that fade away, but actions that shine through.
Kiss me in public, to show that I'm yours,
Hold my hand, and don't let go, through life's ups and downs.
Dance with me, don't be ashamed, let our love be seen,
Cause action speak louder than voice, and that's what I've been dreaming.
I want to know that I'm yours, without a doubt or fear,
I don't want to wonder, maybe I'm, maybe I'm not, dear.
Make me believe, with actions that speak from the heart,
So I won't feel deceived, and our love will never depart.
I have a problem, of giving all of my heart,
So don't leave me, stay right here with me, and never depart.
You're all I need, my shelter, my home,
With you, I am complete, and my heart is never alone.
