Cat-Ash-Trophic Monorhyme

I’ve got a massive bag of cash I found it lying in my trash And though it seems a little rash I bought a car that’s proper flash But then a man that had a gash From his lip, through his moustache And ending by his left eyelash Told me that he wants his stash The tattoo on his head said ‘SMASH!’ His fist was raised and set to bash I tried to make a rapid dash But tripped and came down with a crash He had a gas can, splash, splash, splash His aim I’d have to call mish mash He soaked himself, oh, what a hash I flicked a match and now he’s ash Written: 18 August 2021 Contest: Your Best Monorhyme Contest Sponsor: William Kekaula

Thanks, Tom. First thing I’ve written in nigh on a week... seemed to have lost the funny. So I’m glad to get this one written. Also been trying (yet again) to get to grips with this self publishing malarkey. Everyone says it’s easy but I just sit and scratch my head. Trying with my first 22 year old novel to see how it goes.
