Carpe Diem
If every solemn night you wish
For dreams to become real
While daylight hours are spent in vain
No higher goals appeal
Then how shall any wondrous joy
Upon you be bestowed?
When your own hands rest in your lap
No effort have you showed
For waiting doesn't prosper one
When action is required
And patience only goes so far
When meaning is desired
Get up now from your idle seat
And seize what's left of now
Grasp every single ounce of joy
This new day will allow!
