Carolyn

Just as everyone before her,
she walked through this life alone,
leaving footprints we can follow
as we struggle on our own.

She, woman of many talents
rationed what she let us see.
Wit and wisdom she exuded
in her unique poetry.

There are others who have judged her
as she played another role.
But perhaps we knew her better,
a true poet bares hr soul.

Dear Joyce, I see you have not been active now for over a year. also I heard Jacks Xmas card to you came back undeliverable. jack and I are very concerned. If anyone has access to your account, or if you can read this, please let me know if you are ok. I am worried that you may be in assisted living now or worse. I wish there was a way I could know. YOu are 103 years old, so you have lived a good long life. If you are still out there, Dear, Merry Christmas to you.

Hello Joyce, So many wonderful comments for a friend named Carolyn. And a fine one that writes such a fitting tribute. Though can't help feeling sadness, for a gifted, blooming flower of a poet that left life's stage before allowed a proper bow. -Richard

This is so poignant, Joyce, and I know it must mean a lot to her seeing it from heaven, for you and Jack were two of her very best friends in the world. I really enjoyed seeing your tribute to her.
