Candy
i live for your blind smile,
your softspoken, sugary words
the giddy highs, the comforted lows
our candy of a friendship kept in my pocket
ready to brighten my day.
but what about you could i admire most?
the energy, the laughter at everything and nothing
the flavour of conversations late at night
you always try to wipe away my sadness, the aura of care
and too many more little things than words to describe them.
if my favourite candy is our little bit of love,
is it your's, too?
