Canary Red
My heart is a bright canary
Chirping with delight
At the suite kisses you blew
And when I descended into
In your cavernous mind
I shuddered and sputtered
In the dark corners
Your noxious words
Left my heart gasping for
Air at the bottom of
My rib cage
Bleeding
Dread
Canary red
