We have too many of them where I am. They cross the streets in bunches and hold up the traffic. Your haiku displays good descriptiveness about those so-called "rats with wings".

I thought that I heard some geese and was wondering how when its too late for them to be going south and too early for the northern trip..Got to looking around and it was my husband breathing with his glasses too far down on his nose..Sara
