Can Anyone Do That
An awakening call is coming in,
do we change, or stay
the way we have always been.
Voices are heard, they rally loud,
is there any truth,
or are they just pleasing the crowd?
One has to really, autopsy a speech,
who does it help, who does it defeat?
One set of values, honesty, and truth,
this should be decided, by me, and you.
No gimmicks, no bribes, no promises,
only cold hard facts,
can anyone do that?
Taking swings will strike you out,
eyes are watching, voices shout.
America first, don't forget our land,
her precious soil, is where you stand.
Protect her, love her, and defend her rights,
this is our land, and all we have got.
